Nafisa to Complete Level II Collaborative Practice Skills Training

Associate lawyer Nafisa Nazarali is excited to complete the second level of her Collaborative Practice training this November.  The three day program will run from November 11 – 13, and will focus on the use of the interdisciplinary team approach to collaborative practice.  Having completed her level 1 training earlier this year, Nafisa is looking forward to becoming fully certified in Collaborative Practice.… more »

Nafisa Nazarali to Complete Level I Collaborative Training in June

Associate lawyer Nafisa Nazarali will be completing the first Level of the Collaborative Practice Training for lawyers on June 18 and 19 in Oshawa.

Nafisa believes that collaborative family law is becoming increasingly popular as an avenue for resolution of disputes between separating spouses.  She is looking forward to the privilege of being able to serve clients who are interested in pursuing their matter through this process.

RIA Team Attending 9th Annual Family Law Summit

The lawyers at Russell Alexander Collaborative Family Lawyers are excited to be attending the 9th Annual Family Law Summit on March 30th and 31st, 2015. This will be a great opportunity for the lawyers to gain valuable insight into various topics as well as network with colleagues, members of the bench, academics and experts in family law.

The Summit is being chaired by Mary-Jo Maur and Daniel Melamed and will include many interesting topics such as improving the family law system, case law updates, tips on avoiding negligence claims and drafting factums, just to name a few.… more »

Russell Alexander Welcomes Back Aleksandra Czyzowska

Russell I. Alexander Collaborative Family Lawyers is extremely excited for the return of associate lawyer Aleksandra Czyzowska in January 2015.

Aleksandra joined our firm in June 2012 and practices in all areas of family law including: collaborative family law, divorce, custody, access, child support, spousal support, domestic contracts and property related issues. Aleksandra is based out of our Brooklin office, but meets with clients regularly in all three of the firm’s locations.
