Associate Lawyer
I have been a family law clerk at Russell Alexander Collaborative Family Lawyers for close to 2 years with a total of 9 years experience in family law generally as a family law clerk. I have experience ranging from in-depth case research, preparing, serving and filing legal court documents, Examinations for Discovery, Mediations, and Family Law Trials. Since I have obtained my license to practice law in Ontario, I work as an Associate Lawyer at Russell Alexander Collaborative Family Lawyers where I hope to apply my already obtained legal knowledge to better focus my attention on helping clients with their legal matters.
After obtaining my Honours B.A in Criminology at the University of Toronto, my passion for law motivated me to complete an LL.B from the University of Leicester in the U.K. While living in the U.K., I made a point to travel Europe and introduce myself to different people, cultures, and foods. These experiences have molded me into the positive, hard-working and motivated person I am today.
I have always had a passion for law, specifically family law. Since I am an overall very upbeat and optimistic person, I make sure to carry this energy to my clients because I understand that bringing domestic issues into one’s life will only increase their overall stress. This is why I make sure to develop positive, strong and reliable relationships with clients so that they feel comfortable knowing that their file is in good care.
