Associate Lawyer

I am an associate lawyer at Russell Alexander Collaborative Family Lawyers. I practice in all areas of family law including divorce, parenting time and decision-making, child support, spousal support, separation agreements, and property division.
I graduated with high distinction from the University of Toronto receiving an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Integrative Biology and Health Studies. I later obtained my Juris Doctorate from the University of Windsor in 2010 and I was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2011. As a law student, I volunteered with the Community Legal Aid Clinic counseling and assisting clients.
I have practiced family law exclusively since 2012 at boutique and mid-sized law firms. I have assisted clients achieve their goals quickly and effectively in a cost-effective manner. My objective is to attain the best results for my clients implementing a strategy that is unique to them and their goals, which can adapt as situations change. For instance, after an out-of-court settlement failed, I vigorously advocated and won an international jurisdiction motion wherein a young child will be attending school in Canada as opposed to in a foreign country.
Throughout our time together, clients can expect discussions about all possible options to move their matter forward for their consideration; strengths and weakness in their positions; explanations about the process; and what they can do to advance their case and manage fees. I enjoy working with my clients and helping them achieve their goals.
I am fluent in Spanish, and I have a working proficiency of French.
When I am not in the office, I enjoy discovering new work-out videos on YouTube, searching for the most robust olive oil on the market, and spending time with my friends and family.
