Junior Managing Associate Lawyer

I am an associate lawyer at Russell Alexander Collaborative Family Lawyers. I have practiced family law exclusively for over ten years since my call to the bar in 2011. I am committed to providing my clients with empathy and sound advice and I pride myself on approaching all cases with an analytical and tenacious mind-set.

I graduated from York University in the top 5% of my graduating class, having earned a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Law & Society and Sociology. I completed my Law degree at the University of Windsor. During my time there I put my advocacy skills to work and was awarded a scholarship for outstanding ability in oral advocacy. After my schooling, I went on to article with a reputable full-service law firm in Toronto. I then practiced at two boutique family law firms prior to joining the team at Russell Alexander Collaborative Family Lawyers.

I am determined to protect the rights of my clients and always take a people-centered approach to Family Law. While I prefer to resolve differences amicably, I have no problem taking matters to court and to litigate on behalf of my clients. I am a fully trained collaborative lawyer that has a knack for developing creative resolutions unique to each client’s situation.

Originally from Toronto, I now reside in Durham Region with my husband and daughter. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking and travelling. I have a love for crime drama television series, and dream of one day checking hiking Machu Picchu off of my bucket list.
