I am an associate lawyer at Russell Alexander Collaborative Family Lawyers. I have 25 years of legal experience, having been called to the Bar in Israel and in Ontario.
I started my legal career shortly after completing my Army service with the IDF in an Elite Unit. I attended Law School at Leicester University in the U.K.
I was first called to the Bar in Israel in 1996 and acted as prosecutor and represented the state with respect to prosecution of many criminal offences at various levels of the criminal court system.
I have practiced in the area of Family law since my call to the Bar in Ontario in 2003, and appeared in many GTA courts from Guelph to Oshawa and Newmarket to Toronto.
I have extensive experience in representing clients and negotiation agreements as well as trial work. I also have experience in negotiating with the authorities to advance a client’s interests and have represented clients at various levels of court including on Appeals.
I obtained my Master of Laws from York University at Osgoode Hall Law School, and subsequently I was certified as a family mediator.
Before joining RIA, I was working with a private law firm in Peel Region, and as a senior lawyer, I also acted as a mentor and a principal to articling students.
I enjoy competitive sports activities, including Hockey, basketball and soccer. I enjoy spending time with my family and my 3 teenage boys, who are exceptional athletes. I practice martial arts, and I obtained my Black Belt in Mixed Martial Arts in 2010.
Achieving exceptional results has always motivated me in my personal life and my professional career. Assisting clients in time of personal crisis is what guides me in my practice. Different clients require different approaches to reach a satisfactory resolution. My life experience enables me to be creative and guide clients through what could be a difficult and challenging process.
