Here at Russell Alexander Collaborative Family Lawyers, we held our third annual holiday toy drive through December 10, but virtually this year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
This year, the toy drive supported Simcoe Hall Settlement House in Oshawa, a nonprofit started in 1935 that runs a food bank and programs to serve school-aged children and seniors.
Our team pledged to take 50 percent of initial consultation fees booked between November 10 and December 10 and use the funds to purchase toys online.
On December 14, Russ delivered several hundred toys to the Settlement House to help make the holidays a little more festive for children in need.
