With over four decades of experience in family law, I bring a deeply personal, client-centred approach to every file I manage. As Managing Law Clerk at Russell Alexander Family Lawyers, I work directly with clients through every stage of their case — preparing court pleadings, financial statements, net family property statements, and support calculations — while keeping them informed and supported throughout the process. I know that family law matters can be incredibly stressful, and I make it my priority to listen, explain, and advocate for each person I work with.
A graduate of Seneca College (1984), my career has been shaped by exceptional experiences, including my tenure as an Administrative Assistant at the Office of the Chief Justice, Superior Court of Justice at Osgoode Hall. In 2017, I was recognized as an expert in Family Law by the Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario — a distinction I carry with great pride.
Giving back to the profession has been a cornerstone of my career. For 10 years, I taught Family Law to Law Clerk students at Durham College in the Faculty of Justice and Emergency Services before retiring from teaching in December 2021. I am equally passionate about giving back to my community through fundraising for SickKids Foundation, MS research, and breast cancer research.
Outside the office, I treasure time with my family — especially my granddaughter — and love to travel.
