Senior Law Clerk
(905) 655-7377
I joined Russell Alexander Collaborative Family Lawyers in 2006 after working with Toronto-based intellectual property firms for several years. I then accepted a position at the Durham Children’s Aid Society in 2012 where I acquired a greater understanding and appreciation of family law from the perspective of the family. I returned to Russell Alexander Collaborative Family Lawyers in 2015 to continue to work as part of the legal team in this fast-paced environment. I enjoy providing informative, courteous and prompt service directly to our clients. In 2022, I received the Core Value Award for Respect as nominated by the team.
As part of this team, I assist our lawyers in all aspects of family law, including divorce, custody, access, support and equalization issues. I work to draft pleadings and motion materials, separation agreements and financial statements. I am proud of the work I do with the firm, and always strive to provide a professional and caring attitude towards our clients.
In addition to attaining a diploma from Seneca College in the legal field, I have completed a number of courses towards a Bachelor of Arts degree in Legal Studies at UOIT on a part-time basis.
I was born and raised in Durham Region, but I love to escape on travel adventures with my husband. In my spare time, I like to keep physically active. I can be found at the gym, playing softball, or hiking with my Newfoundland dog. My husband and I are volunteers with a Newfoundland dog rescue which brings us joy in helping animals in need.
