Jeaneva Spencer

Articling Student

I graduated with a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Windsor, where I developed a strong interest in family law, mediation, and litigation. During my time at Windsor Law, I won the Mediation Competition every year, which reinforced my commitment to using mediation and ADR to help families resolve disputes in a way that prioritizes empathy and collaboration.

During law school, I gained practical legal experience while working at a not-for-profit legal clinic, where I worked with vulnerable populations, and helped clients navigate complex legal matters. This experience deepened my understanding of client-centered legal services and solidified my desire to pursue a career in both family law and litigation.

Outside of law, I am an avid equestrian with two horses and enjoy volunteering with Girl Guides of Canada. I’m excited to be at Russell Alexander as an articling student, and I’m eager to apply my skills in family law, litigation, and mediation to help clients through their legal challenges.
