Senior Law Clerk
My career in the legal space spans nearly 30 years and has involved multiple different areas of practice, from Family to Criminal to Litigation. In my most recent years I have come full circle and returned to my first love, Family Law. After completing an Honours Diploma in Legal Office Administration in 1994 I spent my first 8 years in the workforce exclusively in a Family Law environment, where I rose through the ranks from Assistant to Clerk. Through the years, I continued with post-secondary learning in Paralegal Studies and further to obtain Certification in Mediation and Dispute Resolution from Western University.
I am thrilled to be one of the newest members of the Russell Alexander Collaborative Lawyers team, having joined the firm in September 2025. The client-based focus and collaborative practice model were what attracted me most to the firm. My motto is “Always Leave People Better Than You Found Them”. I understand firsthand the challenges that the breakdown of a marriage causes and the trust that is extended to the profession by those individuals. My primary goal is to help see my clients through this tough time, with a balance of effective advocacy, compassion, and patience, that I hope will leave them feeling better for having worked with me.
When I’m not pouring into my work, I enjoy travelling, studying languages (currently studying Dutch and French), trying out new recipes on my friends and family, as well as spending time with my Grandsons. I try to escape to the Caribbean or the Mediterranean each year, the only places I feel my battery can fully recharge.
