Senior Law Clerk
I am a Senior Law Clerk with over 16 years of experience in the family law field and joined Russell Alexander Collaborative Family Lawyers in 2025. After graduating the Law Clerk program at Fleming College in the Spring of 2009, I have worked in small boutique law firms and alongside sole practitioners, gaining valuable exposure to a broad range of family law issues. My work has provided me with a well-rounded and deep understanding of the emotional and legal complexities that accompany family breakdown.
My passion for family law is not just professional—it is also deeply personal, having experienced the legal system firsthand as a Crown Ward in foster care, when I was assigned an advocate from the Office of the Children’s Lawyer. That experience was a pivotal moment that shaped my future and continues to inform my compassionate, client-centered approach today.
Since 2022, I have been a member in good standing with The Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario, continuously striving to stay current with developments in family law and to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and service.
I was raised in the Kawartha Lakes area and settled in Peterborough after relocating for college in 2007. In my spare time you can find me hyper-focused on one of my many hobbies, including photography, cooking, reading, online gaming and crafting – or playing with my cats.
