Diahanna Rose Ramadhar

Associate Lawyer

I am a family lawyer whose practice values mental wellness, access to justice, and a trauma-informed approach. I bring an empathetic and intellectual perspective to advocating for my clients. I handle a range of family law matters including separation agreements and divorce applications, marriage contracts, decision-making responsibility and parenting time (custody and access), child and spousal support, and more.

I graduated with my Juris Doctorate from the University of Windsor in June 2022 and was subsequently called to the bar in Ontario, Canada in June 2023. I completed my summer and articling training at a full-service international commercial law firm on Bay Street in Toronto. I previously earned a Master of Arts in Latin American and Caribbean Studies from the University of Guelph. My graduate program allowed me to spend a half-year at the University of the West Indies in my home country of Trinidad. I obtained my undergraduate degree from Queen’s University in English Literature and World Languages, where I completed exchange programs to Venice, Italy and Lyon, France.

I bring an extensive international background to my legal career. I have always operated a cross-border legal practice that serves clients across many jurisdictions globally. I am trilingual (English, Spanish, French) and can provide legal services in all three languages. I am a highly experienced legal researcher, and I have worked as a bilingual research assistant for various non-profit organizations abroad, including in Argentina and Mexico. Further, I am interculturally trained and certified to Teach English as a Foreign Language, which I did for a year in Gold Coast, Australia. I also enjoy learning about different places and cultures and have travelled solo to over 65 countries across all 7 continents. One day, I hope to visit them all!

In my spare time, you can find me cheering on the Raptors, practicing the ukelele, or taking a trip somewhere new.
