Dana Patton

Law Clerk

I joined Russell Alexander Collaborative Family Lawyers in September 2024. I started my career as a Paralegal working in Provincial Offences in 2019. In 2021 I shifted my focus to Family Law and started working for a large firm based in Kitchener-Waterloo. Since starting in family law, I have quickly grown to love the field.

As a law clerk I work with our lawyers to provide support in all aspects of a file including correspondence, financial statements, court pleadings, Divorce, and more. I strive to ensure clients receive the best possible care and understanding.

I graduated from Western University with a degree in Sociocultural Anthropology and Women’s Studies in 2017. Always knowing that I wanted to do more to help people, I enrolled in the Paralegal Program at Fanshawe College in 2017. I passed my Paralegal Licensing exam in 2018 and began looking for opportunities to help people navigate the legal system.

In my free time, you can find me spending time with my family, friends, and dogs. I enjoy spending time in nature, reading, cooking, growing tropical houseplants, and working on home renovation projects.
