Lisa Clarke is a Senior Law Clerk with over 16 years of experience in the family law field. Graduating from the Law Clerk program at Fleming College in the Spring of 2009, Lisa has cultivated her expertise in small boutique law firms and alongside sole practitioners, gaining extensive knowledge of a wide spectrum of family law issues. Her career has equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of both the emotional and legal intricacies involved in family breakdowns.
Lisa’s dedication to family law extends beyond her professional life, stemming from personal experiences within the legal system as a Crown Ward in foster care, where she was supported by an advocate from the Office of the Children’s Lawyer. This formative experience profoundly influences her compassionate, client-centered approach today.
Since 2022, Lisa has maintained membership in good standing with The Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario, actively pursuing ongoing education to stay abreast of developments in family law and uphold the highest standards of professionalism and client service.
Originally from the Kawartha Lakes area, Lisa settled in Peterborough after relocating for college in 2007. In her leisure time, she immerses herself in various hobbies including photography, cooking, reading, online gaming, crafting, and spending time with her cats.
