I joined Russell Alexander Collaborative Family Lawyers in January 2021 as an Intake/Administrative Assistant. I have worked in large and small law firms and various areas of law for more than 15 years. Approximately 10 of them with a focus on Family Law.
After high school, I attended Sir Sandford Fleming College for the Correctional Worker Program and then began my career as a Youth Correctional Worker in New Brunswick. Eventually, I returned home to Ontario where I continued this work for several more years before going back to school (Seneca College) part time to obtain my Legal Assistant Diploma.
I was born and raised in Durham Region and have spent all of my life in this community (save for 3 years when I lived on the East Coast with my (now) husband while he attended University). I am married with 2 amazing, active children who fill my world. When not working, I can be found running from hockey rink to hockey rink in the winter and lacrosse field to lacrosse arena in the summer and I wouldn’t have it any other way….except maybe being able to compete again with them.
