Aliza Muller

Associate Lawyer

I am an Associate Lawyer at Russell Alexander Collaborative Family Lawyers. I represent clients in all areas of family law, including separation and divorce, parenting time and decisions, property division, child and spousal support, cohabitation agreements, and separation agreements. I strongly believe that most family matters can reach a resolution through a collaborative approach, and I assist clients in reaching a customized outcome based on their specific family law needs and goals in an empathic and cost-efficient way.

I have a Bachelor of Arts in Law and Society from York University and went to law school at the University of Ottawa where I graduated with a Juris Doctor. I was called to the Ontario bar in 2016 and practiced exclusively in family law at a boutique family law firm in London, Ontario. Before joining Russell Alexander, I spent a few years working at a large, global Bay St firm, where I managed global client portfolios and large scale litigation files as a legal project manager. I use my practice experience and my experience in legal project management to give my clients the best possible representation. I am truly passionate about family law, because nothing is more important than family, and often times, family law issues are highly emotional and highly complex, and requires an empathetic, strategic, and fierce advocate, which I strive to be for my clients.

I am originally from, and currently live, in Vaughan, Ontario, but have temporarily lived in Chatham-Kent, London, and Ottawa. I prefer a small town to a big city any day, and hope to one day buy a hobby farm with some acreage and as many farm animals as I can convince my husband to get. When I am not working, you can find me spending time with my husband and 3 kiddos, puzzling, traveling and watching 90’s movies.
