Russell Alexander Collaborative Family Lawyers has formalized its community involvement through the Russell Alexander Giving Fund for over 15 years. Established as a means to help non-profit organizations located in Toronto, Concord, Markham, Whitby, Oshawa, Lindsay, Peterborough, and Kingston, as well as the surrounding areas. The Fund is structured to distribute funds to support these organizations that are close to our team’s hearts. The Giving Fund supports programs in the areas of community development, arts and culture, sports, education, health and human services, and more. The Giving Fund seeks to benefit local organizations and individuals with an important mission who do not necessarily have the visibility or resources of larger charities.
The Giving Fund’s structure:
-
A 1:1 match to any donation from any team member up to $250 per year
-
$1,000 per year to each of our 4 core value winner’s charity of choice
-
$4,000 per year selected by the firm as a whole
